Ambiente lindo e tranquilo! Mas comida não tão saborosa, e o preço é bem salgado.

One of the best restaurants I’ve visited in LA. The dood is delicious and you can enjoy your meal while staring at the beautiful mountains view and greenery. Great place to disconnect from the busy city. The service is great and the staff is friendly. There’s a tiny store which has cute accessories.

A breath of fresh air compared to your typical American brunch spots. Being from Europe, I’m often underwhelmed by the dining scene here - too much grease and not enough soul. But Cafe on 27 is a real gem. We stopped by with the family on a busy weekend without a reservation. Honestly, we got lucky and found street parking easily, and the wait for a table was only about 7 minutes. While waiting, we explored the charming little shops in the same building - definitely worth a look! The vibe is incredible. You get a great view of the canyon from pretty much every seat. Unlike many places where the food feels heavy and over-fried, the main courses here were fresh, well-balanced, and actually flavorful. The desserts were the perfect finish. Service was surprisingly fast despite the rush, and the staff kept checking in on us. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place!!! 🤍 From the views to the food to the service—everything was amazing. We came in on a Saturday afternoon for brunch and honestly expected a long wait, but it wasn’t bad at all—about 25 minutes. While we waited, we explored the little boutiques inside, which were such a cute touch and definitely worth checking out. Once our table was ready, we were seated downstairs where the atmosphere was incredible—surrounded by trees, fresh air, and the perfect amount of shade. Such a peaceful and beautiful setting. For drinks, we tried the strawberry matcha (not really my thing, but that’s just because I’m not a matcha girl) and an iced vanilla latte, which was sooo good—super creamy and just perfect. For food, I got the filet mignon stroganoff and WOW… 100/10. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauce was chef’s kiss. My sister ordered the lobster roll—super fresh with great flavor—and my brother-in-law got the chicken parmesan, which was next level. It was crusted in parmesan cheese instead of the usual style, and it added so much flavor. They didn’t really have a kids menu, but there are enough sides to make it work. Overall, this spot is perfect for anything—family gatherings, brunch with friends, or even a cute date. I would definitely come back! ✨

Nice canyon setting. Its small place and the food is ok. Nothing special. Honestly I would not come here from the valley. Its nice but there's no special reason to come all this way. The service was good. The wait was too long on a random Wednesday lunch.

Had such a great experience at Cafe on 27 yesterday 🌿 The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful , peaceful, scenic, and just the perfect escape from the city. The food was delicious, fresh, and really well presented. A special thanks to Peyman for taking such great care of us, he was incredibly kind, attentive, and made our visit even more enjoyable 🙏 Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing and unique spot in Topanga Canyon.

While the views were certainly unique, our party was disappointed in the food, especially considering the steep price. Upon arriving there was a pretty bad smell coming from the sewer line directly under the parking lot, which wafted into the waiting area. My friend and I ducked into the small shop outside the restaurant for some relief, and were disappointed to find the stickers and 'paintings' being sold there were AI generated. I'm talking human figures missing thumbs level of AI generated. The servers were kind, however, and got us seated as soon as our party had fully arrived and checked in. While our seats did give us a peek at the nice view, it was quickly blocked by just the sheer amount of brunch traffic! I will say the staff acted quickly to move umbrellas around to block the sun when it started to really heat up our tables, which was nice. All the staff were kind and attentive, but man... Yeah the food was just very bland. My BLT was just so so, on the dry side with a side salad that has a smattering of dressing on it. Not even the blue bread sourdough tasted sour. One of my friends said her fries felt a bit undercooked. And our drinks were also underwhelming. Overall, I think I was just startled at the low quality of food despite the really high prices. And AI art promoting your business will always give me the ick.
